Man listen!!! 😂🤣 Me and my baby girl Laylah took a little road trip from San Antonio to Austin for our FIRST EVER Daddy/Daughter Concert, and when I tell y’all WE HAD A TIME!!! 🔥🎶🤣 We went to see Bryson Tiller’s Neo TrapSoul Tour, and I ain’t even gonna lie, I was looking forward to this one just as much as she was! See, I actually rock wit Bryson Tiller and Ty Dolla $ign, so I knew he was gonna enjoy himself! 😂🔥 Now that other group that performed, Majid Jordan? I ain’t NEVER heard of them before, but I gotta give credit where credit is due! They had a DOPE vibe, and I was definitely rocking with them too! 💯 The music was good, the energy was crazy, and the whole experience was one for the books! We stumbled upon great parking, close to the entrance…We ain’t gone talk about the traffic leaving tho😩😂 Now Laylah talking about she wants me to go with her to see @Doja Cat next! DOJA CAT?! 🤨🤣 Baby girl, I love you with ALL my heart, but I don’t know about that one! 😂😂😂 See, Bryson Tiller and Ty Dolla $ign? That’s my speed! Doja Cat?! I might need to sit that one out! 🤣💀 But knowing me, I’ll probably end up right there beside her, looking confused, not knowing a single song, but having the time of my life anyway! 😂 And THAT brings me to the part that really matters. Life is about EXPERIENCES! 💯 I’ve learned that some of the most valuable things we can give our children don’t come with a price tag. It’s our TIME. It’s our PRESENCE. It’s the memories we create together. It’s those random road trips, the conversations in the car, the jokes, the laughter, the music, and those moments that they’ll remember long after we’re gone. And as a father, there’s something that means more to me than I could ever put into words. My daughter is growing into a young woman, and she STILL wants to hang out with her crazy daddy! 🥹❤️ Y’all don’t understand how much that means to me! Because as our children get older, they start developing their own lives, their own interests, their own friendships, and their own independence. And that’s exactly what they’re SUPPOSED to do! But when your child actually CHOOSES to spend their free time with YOU? Man, that’s a blessing I don’t take for granted! 🙏🏾 I’m not just raising children. I’m building relationships with the people I hope will still want me around when they’re grown. I want my kids to know that Dad isn’t just somebody who provides for them, disciplines them, or tells them what to do. I’m somebody they can laugh with, talk to, travel with, experience life with, and most importantly, ALWAYS count on! And if that means occasionally stepping outside my comfort zone and going to a concert where I don’t know NONE of the damn songs, then I guess that’s what we’re doing! 🤣🤣🤣 Because one day, these concerts, road trips, and random adventures are going to be the stories we sit around telling. And I want us to have PLENTY of stories to tell! ❤️ I’ve accomplished a lot of things in my life. I’ve worn a lot of hats, held a lot of titles, and experienced things I never imagined I would. But out of EVERYTHING I’ve ever done… My FAVORITE part about life is being a DAD! ❤️💯 Not the business. Not the money. Not the recognition. Being a father to my three amazing children will ALWAYS be my greatest blessing and my proudest accomplishment! Laylah, thank you for making these memories with your crazy dad!
