In case you’ve wondered what I’ve been up to these past 2 years! Here’s a long rant! Hi been a while gang! If you don’t remember me, hi! I’m Ruby, I’m 21 years old and I was a very active cosplayer from 2017-2022, I was most known for my cosplays within the early aot, South Park, HXH, and Fnaf (that Jeremy cosplayer from THAT cancelled comic 😔) communities- since then, I have been in college focusing on my school and social life, I double major in film production and theatre with plans to do hair/makeup/wigs for stage and television (so it never really left me I guess 🤭) within the school years, I’m constantly busy making films and working on productions and acting, and over the summers I’ve spent traveling on tour with Billy Joel, it’s been a great experience and opportunity- though it is very time consuming work- so cosplay was just something I never got to do. I fell out of contact with so many people with no intention of doing so (like bro If I accidentally ghosted u I promise it’s not u It’s me and I still love and cherish the memories we made, please don’t hesitate to reach out) ANYWAYS- I thought I was done with cosplaying, I just never have the time with having such a busy schedule. That and I really no longer had the confidence to do so anymore. I had gained a bunch of weight when I started college, and just became a recluse by sophomore year until I added my theatre major- those who know me know Ive struggled a lot with myself and my confidence and my appearance in the past. about a year ago I went on a weight loss journey and since then I’ve lost 70 pounds and have been thriving! I’m back on the stage, back to doing what makes me me, and I knew that cosplay was the last thing I needed to bring back in order to feel like the person I’ve spent so many years growing to be. So I’m here to give this another shot! I’m glad to be back and I’m glad to see so many mutuals and old friends comment on and like my recent post!! I’m currently in the process of clearing up old videos (gotta fix that digital footprint because yikes some of these old videos hurt to watch) and will be trying to cosplay when I can! Don’t hesitate either to drop some suggestions I’d love to have a project to work on lol Sorry for the long rant! But I am so excited to give this another shot and I’ve missed you all 😭🫶 -Ruby 🐬🐬
