Currently reading this short story collection, Lagos will be hard for you by Ayotola Tehingbola. My second pick for short story September 🤭 I picked this book up just as I was leaving Lagos and I even read it on my flight. The House In The Cerulean Sea By TJ Klune 📖 This book made me want to cry so clearly it’s a 4 star read. For the past 17 years, Linus Baker has been living a quiet life as a caseworker. He visits orphanages that are homes for children who are magical creatures. However, Linus is assigned to a top-secret mission by extremely upper management. His mission is to inspect an orphanage with five very special magical creatures and their leader Arthur What will Linus discover? I’ve heard a lot of people describe this book as a warm hug and they weren’t lying. It was a unique and magical fantasy story, very easy to understand and fall in love with. I also really enjoyed the writing style and the major themes in the book. The only issue I had with the book was how long it was but I had a good time reading it, just wished it would’ve been shorter.
