🍋 Why does the lemon sink without its peel? Let’s learn! 🧠💧 A lemon with its peel floats because the peel has lots of tiny air pockets — like a sponge full of bubbles! 🫧 Those bubbles make the lemon lighter and help it float on water, just like a life jacket! 🛟💦 But when we take the peel off, the air pockets are gone. Now the lemon is heavier for its size… and it sinks! 😲👇 That’s called density — how much stuff is packed into something. More packed = more dense = sink! Less packed (with air) = less dense = float! 🎈🌊 #density #ScienceMagic #Experiment #STEMFun #PreschoolKids #ExploreWithQDees #GrowingWithQDees #QDeesFunTimes
