Almost heaven indeed! With this rather stunning musical offering, the PS22 Chorus would like to take this time to wish you the most wonderful celebration of home, family, and country! Filmed on our school's Culture Day, you'll see some of the kids, in lieu of their chorus shirts, wearing outfits representing their various backgrounds - THIS is the America I'm so proud to be a part of! Happy Thanksgiving from OUR family to YOURS!! Sonic sparks were flying last week when @Aly and AJ came to visit PS22 to jam with the kids while in NYC!! In celebration of @theps22chorus Silver Anniversary, we chose the song "Silver Deliverer" to perform together, which seemed to perfectly align! And deliver this performance does indeed!!! 🎶🔥🧨 But beyond the stunningly beautiful sounds that came out of the union, the love and positive energy that filled the PS22 auditorium that afternoon was palpable! As you'll see, the kids even brought AJ to tears during the warm-up - a special moment we felt compelled to include at the start of the video. All in all, to quote AJ herself, "BEST! DAY! EVER!" Okay, for real? This may be the best one yet. On @Tori Amos's birthday, the PS22 Chorus celebrates her legacy with a powerful reworking of “Winter,” a song that was inspired by her relationship with her dad, who sadly passed away last month. With this timeless, chillingly beautiful reminder of the importance of self love, we honor both father and daughter today. Happy birthday, Tori! ❄️ 🎶💙 SONG: "Winter" by Tori Amos SOLOISTS: Samara, Makenzie & Ariel FILMED BY: Ms. Lisa #winter #toriamos #ps22 #ps22chorus #edisonamos
