I know a lot of people will see this and be like “Her birthday was yesterday!” I know, I was there.. 🤣 I honestly got so caught up in celebrating that at the end of the night I realized I hadn’t posted anything all day. Although this will less of a hbd post and more of a thank you. Thank you for sharing your outlook on life with me. Your unwavering kindness and positive outlook is truly something to admire. I’ve been there to witness the world try to kick you while you’re down on many occasions, but somehow you always find a way to respond with a smile. Thank you for reminding me that sometimes all you need is a few good people and a night of laughter to relieve the tensions of day to day life. I was honestly kind of spiraling trying to figure out something to do for your birthday. But in true sweetheart fashion, you said “All I want is to spend time with people who have wanted to spend time with me, and play some sort of board games. But also breakfast..”🤣 So after starting the day proper with some IHOP, we invited her sisters and a couple close friends for a potluck style dinner. Jess does love a good potluck. lol Then we played a game of jenga, the longest game of LIFE I’ve ever participated in, and ended off with some Mario party. You would’ve thought it was my birthday the way I went to bed smiling 😂You somehow took a day that was meant for you and turned it into a gift for everyone that got to share it with you.
