Every first of the month, I like to remind my house what is welcome here. 🕯️🌿 Before I invite anything new in, I clear away what’s lingering. I sweep the doorstep, cleanse the front door with my rosemary infused cleansing water and reset the energy of the threshold. Your front door is more than just an entrance. In folk magic and witchcraft, the threshold can be a powerful place to set boundaries, protection and intention. You can trace protective or manifestation sigils into the door, anoint it with oils, recite an incantation or simply speak aloud what you are welcoming into your home for the month ahead. I also place labradorite by my door for protection, before finishing with one of my favourite abundance rituals: cinnamon. ✨ And here’s where I see people get this one backwards… If you’re using cinnamon to invite prosperity, luck and abundance into your home, don’t blow it out of your front door. 😉 The direction matters. Blow it INTO your home, drawing that abundance across your threshold rather than sending it away. A clean threshold. Strong boundaries. Clear intentions. A little bit of magic to start the month. What are you welcoming through your door this month? 🏡✨ #WitchTok #Witchcraft #WitchyRituals #FirstOfTheMonth #CleansingRitual

Blowing cinnamon through your front door is a modern folk-magic and spiritual practice used by many people to welcome abundance, prosperity, luck and positive energy into the home. Cinnamon has long been used in magical traditions and is commonly associated with prosperity, success, protection and attraction. The doorway acts as a symbolic threshold, so blowing the cinnamon inwards represents inviting those things into your home. #newseason #spookyseason #newmonthnewgoals #witchtips
