This is the behind the scenes of my last video...LOL I was trying to get some footage for that idea (it was such a cool view from the Marine Tower, going down the elevator!!) and my friends are hilarious so we're sharing this version too 🤣🤣💖 @Mason #bungoustraydogs #japan #anime #meme #travel

More detailed list below - Bar Lupin, just as it's portrayed in the Bungou Stray Dogs TV Anime, is a real historic bar located at Japan, 〒104-0061 Tokyo, Chuo City, Ginza, 5 Chome−5−11 塚本不動産ビル 地下. Not to be confused with the OTHER Bar Lupin in Tokyo! Bar Lupin is not located in Yokohama, like it may seem in the anime. It is about 45 minutes away from Yokohama by train, if you happen to be staying there. Their hours are 5:00pm-11:30pm and they are closed Sundays and Mondays. To summarize these photos: - You must be at least 18 years old to enter, and at least 20 years old to order an alcoholic drink (non-alcoholic drinks are available to order on their menu). - You may not enter for photography or videography purposes only, under any circumstance, for any amount of time. I've seen angry reviews about this, but it is stated very clearly on the sign outside the door in multiple languages. You can still take photos and videos, but you must be mindful of the other patrons. - They do NOT take card or electronic payments. Cash only, and there is no ATM on sight, so come prepared! - There is a 880 Yen Cover charge per person, meaning each person has to pay this amount to enter the bar. This does not include your drink costs, and is not a deposit. - There is a pretty hefty menu available in English and Japanese. The drinks average at about 1500 yen, and the higher than average costs are due to this being a historic bar, located in a luxury area (Ginza). - There is no real food on the menu, but light snacks are available, such as chips. - The staff will give you a Bar Lupin matchbox after you pay, and if they don't give it to you before you head to the exit, don't be afraid to ask! On my first visit, they even gave me an English brochure detailing the bar's history. - The bar exists down a set of narrow stairs, it is not wheelchair accessible and there is no elevator due to its old age. It is very small inside and rather dark, so keep this in mind if you require mobility aids or are visually impaired. - The staff are very kind and many speak basic conversational English. I still recommend you know basic conversational Japanese in return! - The portraits of Oda Sakunosuke, Ango Sakaguchi and Osamu Dazai are in the very back of the bar. - I do not recommend cosplaying inside of Bar Lupin. This is generally frowned upon to do in private establishments like this that are featured in anime, and they may not even let you inside. I have seen photos of cosplayers outside of the bar, and I don't see this being an issue but I am unsure how the staff feel about it. - On my first visit, we were given an acrylic stand featuring the trio to take photos with, as well as BSD manga to view, signed by Asagiri and the various artists that work on the series. In 2025, I asked the staff to see the manga, and they were unavailable. It's unclear if they were simply being viewed by other patrons or just no longer available for viewing, because they were not in good condition when I last saw them. It doesn't hurt to ask though! - Let me know if you have any other questions. I had so much fun here both times and I want to make sure others have the same experience! I am a professional travel advisor/agent, and if you're looking for someone to plan your trip to Japan or anywhere else, check out the link in my bio to fill out a form 🥰 #bungoustraydogs #barlupin #tokyo #travel #anime
