all good adventures start with a road trip and this weeks #abigadventurefulyear took us to Mussleborough nr Edinburgh! We stayed with one of my mums school friends and we had the best time with the dogs on walk, going to Edinburgh to see the Vivaldi light show and afternoon tea! Also the @Brewhemia afternoon tea is 10/10 and inly £10pp!! Very good value for money and so close to the station as well! Sometimes a microadventure can be as simple as reconnecting with old friends and this weekend was a prime example of that!

it’s safe to say that this week I needed a restorative microadventure, so I headed to @fahrenhutsauna for this weeks #abigadventurefulyear 🌊 on the shores of Ullswater at Pooley Bridge, this little sauna is the perfect place for a sauna and dip in the lake (where it’s 5 degrees currently 😅) Finding adventures to match your energy levels is key and this was absolutely perfect! I don’t know about you, but as I’ve gotten older I always feel like summer has disappeared by this point and I’ve missed the season Which is mad because as a kid, this is when summer really starts So I’m reclaiming my love of summer and created a little summer bucket list to really fall back in love with what used to be my favourite season What’s on your summer bucket list this year??
