In honor of @prostbrewingco ‘s 12th anniversary celebration, which kicks off Friday, August 23 and continues throughout the weekend, join us in checking out Prost’s new Northglenn Biergarten location. Now the fourth outpost for the prolific German beer producer, this state-of-the-art facility allows the rising brewery to not only scale up production but also create more nuanced complex beers with the installation of a 50bbl Kaspar Schultz brew system imported from Germany. Prost has already earned recent acclaim at GABF for its flagship Pilsner and at World Beer Cup for its Biergarten Lager, so one can only expect even bigger acclaim with this new brew system fully operational. We also got a heads up that the Prost empire has its sights even wider with plans for locations in Wheat Ridge and Colorado Springs on the horizon in the next few years! Be sure to swing by Prost this weekend for live music, $12 liter and brat specials, a ceremonial keg tapping, and a chance to win a backyard Biergarten kit which includes a fancy Prost-branded patio cooler. Special thanks to @On Tap Credit Union for their support of this series! Fresh hop season is BACK! Now that the autumn hop harvest season is almost over, we’re getting pretty excited for all of the amazing fresh hop beers which will be hitting the market soon. In Colorado, @flytecobrewing has been producing some of the freshest fresh hop beers in the Front Range by piloting a small four passenger plane out to @billygoathopfarm outside of Montrose each year to harvest hops and transport them back to the boil in a three hour round trip span. FlyteCo’s Fresh Hop IPA “Hop is My Co-Pilot” is now on draft at both FlyteCo locations on Tennyson St and in the Central Park neighborhood. Special thanks to @ontapcu for supporting this series! You can receive $150 from On Tap Credit Union for opening a personal savings account when you Use promo code: “PORCH”! The return of Oktoberfest seasons means we’re exploring some of our favorite Märzen-style Lagers and at the top of that list is @Firestone Walker Brewing Co.‘s Oaktoberfest! They age a portion of the beer in oak barrels from Herman Story Winery before finishing it on Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops lending a smoother finish with just the perfect touch of complexity while still remaining crisp, clean, and biscuity! Be sure to look for Firestone Walker’s Oaktoberfest at a store near you… PROST! Special thanks to @On Tap Credit Union for their support of our video series.
