If you’re looking for a really good brunch spot, @House 157 _ is it! They already do dinner and cocktails well, but if you haven’t tried their Southern Caribbean fusion brunch yet, you’re surely missing out. Every dish hit, but the chicken & waffles were definitely my favorite. That waffle was so soft and fluffy just like I like them. And the mimosa flights? Beautiful and delicious. I drank all three by myself, so that should tell you everything you need to know! Brunch is served on Saturdays & Sundays from 11AM–3PM. Save this one for your next weekend brunch plans 😉 📍 House 157 157 E Westfield Ave, Roselle Park, NJ #njbrunch #roselleparknj #njrestaurants #fyp #foodie

@legacy27restaurant is exactly what Downtown Newark needed ✨ This Black woman-owned restaurant and lounge is bringing an upscale, modern vibe to the city with an elevated menu inspired by African, Caribbean, Latin, and Southern flavors. The food was good, the cocktails were on point, and I already know I’ll be back for those oxtail empanadas for sure! It’s the perfect spot for after-work drinks, date night, or a celebration, so be sure to add to your list. They also have weekend brunch, happy hour, and events throughout the week. 📍 Legacy 27 Kitchen & Cocktails 27 Central Ave, Newark, NJ Check them out 😉 #newarknj #njrestaurants #blackownednj #caribbeanfood #Foodie
