Cancer may have shaken my world, but it hasn't taken away my crown! Sitting on this throne reminds me of something I've learned on my breast cancer journey... life doesn't have to be perfect for us to find reasons to smile, laugh, dress up and enjoy the moment. I've had my difficult days. Days of pain, tears, exhaustion and uncertainty. But I've also had days like this, when I can simply sit, smile and appreciate the gift of being alive. To everyone going through breast cancer or any difficult season of life, remember that you are more than what you are going through.And to those who haven't been diagnosed, please don't wait for cancer to remind you how precious life is. Take care of your health, pay attention to changes in your body and seek medical advice when something doesn't feel right. 31st October is here. Pinktober ends today. We've spent 31 days talking about breast cancer, sharing stories, challenging myths and encouraging early detection.
