I’ve been watching Dancing With the Stars since Season 1, Episode 1, and after 45 years of studying dance and approximately 35 years of teaching it, I have some thoughts about the latest lift controversy. 🩰 This isn’t about defending Jenna or attacking Carrie Ann. It’s about clear rules, consistent judging, and respectful critiques. I love that DWTS brings dance into the mainstream. But dance is an established art form with its own history, technique, and traditions, and I believe that deserves to be respected. I’m not asking for less entertainment. What’s for dinner tonight? Slow cooker taco bowls! 🌮😋 On late studio nights, I love using the slow cooker so dinner is ready when we get home. Some days I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, and other days I just want to throw everything into the slow cooker and let it do most of the work.
