The first two photos were taken after Camino was found along Katipunan following a hit-and-run. She had pelvic fractures, could barely move properly, and needed urgent veterinary care just to begin recovering. The next two were taken at our recent Pet Blessing with Pet Express, where she got to spend the day surrounded by people, pets, and so much love. We’re so proud of how far she has come. Camino fought so hard to get to where she is today. Seeing her healthy, happy, and enjoying life again already means so much to us, but there’s still one thing we hope comes next: a furever home and a family of her own. If you met Camino at the Pet Blessing and she stayed on your mind, maybe she’s waiting for you too 🥹 Adopt Camino at paws.org.ph/adopt 💚 _______ Can’t adopt yet? This Animal Road Accident Awareness Day, PAWS reminds everyone that road accidents involving animals can be prevented. Whether you're a motorist or a pet owner, being responsible and taking extra precautions can make all the difference in keeping animals safe. 🚗 TO ALL MOTORISTS: Stay alert for animals crossing or resting along the road. Slow down, give them enough space, and remember that animals may react unpredictably when startled. A few seconds of caution could save a life. 🐕 TO ALL PET OWNERS: Your pets’ safety is your responsibility. Under the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007 (RA 9482), dog owners are required to keep their dogs under control and prevent them from roaming freely on streets or in public places without a leash. Responsible pet ownership means protecting them from preventable dangers, including road accidents. Preventing road accidents involving animals is a responsibility we all share. By driving carefully and keeping our pets safe, we can help prevent unnecessary injuries and save lives 💚 #AnimalRoadAccidentAwarenessDay #PAWSPhilippines #RoadSafety #ResponsiblePetOwnership #AnimalWelfare
