26nd August 2013 💔 On the 26nd of this month, it will be another year since I had to say goodbye to my mum. I stood by her side and watched her take her last breath, surrounded by the people who loved her most. It’s a moment that will stay with me forever. She was only 41 years old. She was diagnosed with cancer and, just 13 days later, she was gone. It all happened so quickly. None of us were ready, and nothing can prepare you for losing your mum. People often say that time heals, but for me, it doesn’t. It has been all these years, yet there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about her.
