8ft to 6.5ft conversion on this 2015 Silverado 2500, clean, functional, and dialed the right way. This one wasn’t just a bed swap. We shortened the frame, converted it over to a 1500 short bed, and handled the fuel system properly with the 1500 tank and pump to match. Everything fits and finishes like it should’ve come this way from the factory. While it was here, the customer had us install his leveling kit, 35s, and KMC wheels to bring the whole setup together. Front end got new glass fenders and minis. Factory fenders were removed, mounting points drilled and reworked so everything lines up and sits correctly. Fitment is all in the prep. Bedsides took more work. All factory spot welds were removed to install the new panels the right way. These are 3 inches wider than stock, so everything had to be dialed in to keep the body lines clean. Not a bolt-on job. This is cut, prep, and fit until it’s right.
