Officer Jarrott not only gave the man a ride into Deming, NM but also bought him food and have him $20 out of his own money. Officer Jarrott was never recognized for his generosity by anyone other than the elderly man. Just 26 days later officer Jarrott gave the same kindness to a man who decided to ambush and gun him down during a traffic stop. This clip is from an upcoming video that will be on my YouTube channel (NM Bodycam). In this clip, fallen New Mexico State Police officer Darian Jarrott was takiNg a young lady to pick up her boyfriends car so it wouldn't get towed after he had been arrested for a warrant for failing to pay a fine in Lordsburg, NM. During the drive, the female briefly talked with officer Jarrott about if he enjoys being in Law Enforcement and touching the topic of how frequently officers are being shot all over the US. For those who don't know, Officer Darian Jarrott was shot and killed by a drug dealer who had just gotten out of prison the year prior and moved to Deming, New Mexico from California. Federal agents asked for a state police officer to pull the drug dealer over and arrest him once the large amount of narcotics had been located in the vehicle that the suspect was taking to an undercover drug buy bust sting operation in Las Cruces on 2/4/21. Federal authorities failed to mention to officer Jarrott how dangerous and how desperate the suspect was to not go back to prison. Officer Jarrott lost his life just over 3 months after the day this footage shown, was captured. For more bodycam footage from officer Jarrott, please check my YouTube channel (NM Bodycam). I intend to post as much footage as possible from officer Jarrott to show not only the type of officer he was, but the type of person he was. #darianjarrott #NMSP #DRJ #statepolice #bodycam #newmexico #fallenangel #SOCOM1251
