Students want climate education, and it’s been moving right along at the state level. We’ve seen quite a bit of progress over the past few years with more and more states requiring climate change be taught in public schools. And things don’t stop at the state level — increasingly more school districts are including climate change and sustainability education in their curriculum. Have you been seeing some progress made in your state or local community? #earthmonth #education #empowerment #climateaction #scienceliteracy

Behold! More Natalia! Breaking news from NCSEvolution in Action! Resident primatologist @Natalia Reagan reports that a new species of monkey, Colobus congoensis, has been discovered in Lomami National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo! AND thanks to a local scientist led research team. Congolese scientist Junior Amboko and his team spent the next four years searching for this cryptid colobus and recorded 114 sightings! Given the seemingly scant population and small geographic range, only about 1700 square kilometers, it will be listed as endangered on the IUCN red list. We’re excited to see more insights about this species of monkey! #scicomm #monkey #endangeredspecies #stemtok #learnontiktok
