From Monday to today, the NCDA has been on location with the Police Safety and Security Branch, engaging students in important conversations about sexual rights, substance use, personal safety and making informed decisions. Today, we wrapped up our school engagements at Mount Alvernia High School, where we specifically engaged Grade 8 girls, equipping them with knowledge to understand their rights, recognise the risks associated with substance use and make healthier choices. #NCDAJamaica #YouthEmpowerment #SubstanceUsePrevention #HealthyChoices

Hailey Anglin, an 8th-grade student at Mt. Alvernia High School, shares what she appreciated about today’s session. Through our partnership with the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), the NCDA continues to engage students in important conversations about substance use, their rights, and the knowledge they need to make informed decisions and protect their well-being. Because empowering our young people starts with giving them the information, guidance, and support they need to thrive. #NCDAJamaica #JCF #YouthEmpowerment #SubstanceUsePrevention
