Want to help your favorite indie author get into bookstores? There's a very easy way to do it. You can literally walk into any bookstore and ask them to order an indie book for you. They'll search their ISBN catalog, and if the author has print distribution set up, the store can order it at distributor discount. Here's the magic: bookstores often order multiple copies (2-5) when they think a book looks interesting. Suddenly, your favorite indie author has shelf space in a real bookstore. Found an amazing book on Kindle Unlimited? Help that author by requesting a physical copy at your local bookstore. You're still supporting them financially while boosting their distribution. It's a win-win that takes 5 minutes but makes a huge impact. 📊 Stats day. As of this week, I've hit 816 total copies sold of Husk! This week's breakdown: • Amazon: 20 copies • Ingram: 3 copies • Kindle Unlimited: 2,600 pages read (~7 copies) • Total: 30 copies (same as last week) Staying flat post-launch isn't bad - maintaining momentum is one of the hardest parts. Plus I'm at 82 total reviews across platforms. #indieauthor #scifibooks #selfpublishing #bookmarketing #authormarketing #bookrecommendations #indiepublishing
