When it’s too hot to run around, try this instead. 🧊☀️ Can you build an igloo using nothing but ice cubes before it melts? It’s a simple activity that encourages children to experiment, problem-solve and stay cool on a hot day. Why not see who can build the tallest one? Have you tried this before? 🌿 At this time of year, a meadow is never really silent. Sit still for a while and you’ll hear the soft music of buzzing bees and rustling grasses all around you. #wildflowers #meadowlife #natureconnection #outdoorlearning #mudandbloom

This is a really fun activity. The boats are quick to make and float really well. Read our blog post on how to make one here: www.mudandbloom.com/blog/cork-boat Written and photographed by @denisekhope We recycled some elastic bands for this activity. If you’re worried you might lose your rafts, however, you can use something biodegradable such as hemp or jute twine. #outdooractivities #corkboats #mudandbloom #forestschool #natureplay
