This past Sunday was truly something special. ✨💜 Thank you to Rae and the Daughters of Minnehaha Temple No. 129 for inviting me to be part of such a beautiful and meaningful event. To the four incredible survivors who shared their stories….thank you for your courage, vulnerability, and strength. It was truly a blessing to be in a room with women who could stand and tell their stories of survival. I had the honor of closing out the speakers by sharing my sister Krista’s story. After listening to these amazing women, I was reminded just how grateful I am that they are still here to tell their stories. My sister isn’t here to tell hers, so I carry her story with me. I shared how I witnessed a small portion of her abuse, speaking up, and ultimately losing her to domestic violence turned my pain into purpose and becoming the inspiration to the creation of Ambers Fashion Production Company and Ambers Foundation in her honor. 💜 There was something so powerful about hearing the voices of survivors and then honoring the voice of Krista who didn’t get the opportunity to survive. 💜 Thank you again for creating a space where every story could be heard, honored, and remembered. 💜 Thank you also to my loved ones/support system Endeshia, Tywunjia, Chrissy, and that handsome man of mine 😌 for coming and supporting me and the event as a whole. Ya’ll are amazing 💜💜✨✨. OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH! LET’S NEVER FORGET!💜💜💜 #domesticabuseawareness #dvawarenessmonth #courage #teaparty #october2026
