Welcome to the time machine. 1993 Topps Stadium Club #650, Tom Glavine. The back of this card shows what he did in 1992: 20 wins and 5 shutouts, both tied for the best in the National League. Glavine went on to win two Cy Young Awards, 305 games, the 1995 World Series MVP, and a spot in the Hall of Fame in 2014. Show a kid a Stadium Club card and let them see how sharp the photography is. It is a great way to get a young collector hooked. 17 cups of coffee in the last three hours. That's how Slab Saturday went. I've been accused of being a little monotone. eBay Live isn't about the hype, and neither am I. Except for the Diet Coke ASMR. That had to make the video. We're not breakers. We're purists. We care about the cards inside the plastic, not the politics. Live on eBay every Friday and Saturday at 8PM ET, @mortythemaker. Welcome to the time machine. 1986 Donruss #651, Fleet Feet, with Willie McGee and Vince Coleman. The back of this card says speed was the Cardinals' main weapon on the way back to the National League pennant. Coleman stole 110 bases in 1985 and won NL Rookie of the Year, a total only Lou Brock and Rickey Henderson had topped. The Cardinals as a team stole 314 bases, the second most in National League history. Fun cards like this one are the perfect way to get a kid interested. Who doesn't love a stolen base? Did you ever see Vince and Willie run in person? eBay: https://www.ebay.com/str/mortythemakersportscards Website: https://www.mtmsportscards.com #Cardinals #VinceColeman #WillieMcGee #1986Donruss #Whiteyball #StolenBases #VintageBaseballCards #BaseballCards #SportsCards #TheHobby #MTMSportsCards #mortythemaker
