If you keep seeing the same name in catalog pages, this is why. Northern Dancer became the founder effect stallion of modern thoroughbred racing his sons stood at stud, their sons stood at stud, and now when you trace lines like Galileo or Frankel back far enough the tree keeps circling the same branch which means the gene pool is tighter than it looks and smart nicks matter more than ever. 🐎 Drop a 🧡 if you want more breeding and bloodline breakdowns and tag someone who studies pedigrees the way other people study box scores. #NorthernDancer #ThoroughbredBreeding #RacingEducation #HorseRacing #MorplayRacing

Pound for pound you are looking at some of the toughest athletes in sports. Jockeys ride at around 112 to 118 pounds as full grown adults that number includes the gear and the saddle while living on a permanent weight cut and steering a half ton animal at 40 miles an hour in traffic. 🐎 Drop a 🧡 if you think jockeys deserve to be talked about like the pros they are and save this before your next race day when the camera cuts to the rider and you see what they are actually carrying. #JockeyLife #RacingEducation #ThoroughbredRacing #HorseRacing #MorplayRacing

The name is Cornichiwa. The personality test is whether he is the barn greeter or the one who keeps to himself and makes everybody come to him. 🐎 Either way, this new Morplay athlete is by Corniche, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner and champion two year old.
