Poor Snow needs a foster 🙏 Let It Snow! ❄️❄️❄️ Snow is a timid, gentle 1-year-old girl who needs a patient, loving hand to help her feel safe and secure. Found as a stray on 12/2/24, this sweet pup has been through a lot and is still learning to trust the world around her. Though listed as male at intake, Snow is a precious little lady who finds comfort in her kennel mate, Polar—often hiding behind him for protection. When separated and brought outside, she was so nervous she had to be carried to the yard. Once there, she quietly ate a bit of wet food before retreating to a corner, shaking. Snow’s underweight frame and shy demeanor speak to her struggles, but with time and love, she’s sure to blossom. Snow would highly benefit from a foster home where she can decompress, feel safe, and begin building trust. Her soft heart and quiet spirit make her a perfect candidate for a patient family who can help her come out of her shell and see how much love she has to give. UPDATE 10/8/2024:In a foster home! Still available for adoption or rescue! Unstoppable Emma ❤️‍🩹 Emma is a 1 year and 9-month-old spayed female who has been through so much in her short life. Surrendered by her owner, she came to the shelter in rough shape after being beat up by the previous owner's other dogs. It’s no wonder this sweet girl is very scared in the shelter, especially in hallways, and she’s understandably fearful of other dogs. Emma has been at the shelter since 8/23/24, waiting for a patient foster or adopter to help her heal from her trauma. But outside, she is an absolute love bug! Emma is incredibly affectionate once she warms up and loves to be next to you. She knows how to sit, likes treats, and even enjoys squeaky toys! Her sister Grace has already been adopted, and now it’s Emma’s turn to find a home where she can feel safe and secure. She would do best as the only dog, or with a very patient home willing to take slow introductions with any other household pets.
