my biggest issue with people not liking is botl percy is that they expected him to accepted that he might die at 16 and instead pay attention to love and romance. like so many people are exasperated with him because they forget he didn't grow up with the demigods he got thrust in this life against his will. he took the prophecy to protect nico not because he was okay with dying. and he didn't stay on the island and he wasn't going to bc he liked calypso it was because he didn't have to fight any fucking wars at 16. he liked rachel because she was the only "normal" in his life that wasn't related to the gods. his love for annabeth was not his biggest concern at the moment🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 #pjo #pjotv #percyjacksonandtheolympians #thelightningthief #percyjackson #riordanverse #rickriordan #riordanverse #percabethlovr #camphalfblood
