Rewatching this video makes me so sad.. medical gaslighting and refusal to treat “complex medical cases” (aka women’s health) has serious affects on the nervous system. Everything turned out fine. I had a drug in my system that was in a suppository a different doctor had prescribed for my chronic pain. And my doctor prescribing my ADHD meds was VERY understanding. (I’m currently trying to get off of my adhd meds) But before her, many psychiatrists wouldn’t even touch my case because of my chronic illnesses. I share this NOT so you will feel bad. Week 3 of this endo flare. None of my other medications or methods to calm my bladder down are working. I'm scared to eat anything to make it worse. I haven't been able to exercise. And when nothing is working and your doctors have no other mode of treatment to get your pain down even just for temporary relief, it's only natural you start thinking of other more serious possibilities that would cause this persistent of pain.
