I love using a dry brush to blend acrylic markers. It helps soften the edges and create a smoother, more harmonious finish without adding too much paint #acrylicmarker #portraitdrawing #artprocess #acrylicmarkers #acrylicpaint

Purple works for every skin tone. 💜 I use it first to place the shadows, whether I’m coloring light or dark skin. Then I layer the skin tones over it while the alcohol marker ink is still wet, so the colors blend together. The purple adds depth to the shadows, and I adjust its intensity for each portrait. #alcoholmarkers ##portraitdrawing #artprocess #sketchbookart #arttok

My book is officially out! 🥹✨ I wanted to create a book that brings together the way I approach portraits: how I use color, build a face from different angles, explore different materials and develop a portrait step by step. And at the end, you’ll find detachable portraits ready for you to color and make your own ❤️ Portraits à dessiner et coloriser is now available in French.

Acrylic markers, soft layers, and no pressure to get everything perfect. I’m learning to trust the process more: adding color little by little, letting the texture appear, and starting even when I’m not sure where it’s going. If you want to understand how I blend acrylic markers, especially with the dry brush technique, I explain everything step by step in my Acrylic Marker Guide. This is one of my favorite ways to blend with acrylic markers. I apply two colors directly next to each other, then use a clean, dry brush to soften the transition before the paint dries. The brush picks up and redistributes a little pigment, creating a much smoother blend without adding water. A few tips: • Work on small sections. • Blend immediately while the paint is still wet. • Use a soft, clean, dry brush. • Wipe the brush regularly to avoid muddy colors. It takes a bit of practice, but once you get the timing right, the blends become much smoother 💕 #artprocess #artdaily #drawingportrait #artpractice #acrylicmarker

I tried drawing on a plastic sheet with acrylic markers, and the colors look so vibrant on this smooth surface. It’s such a fun change from drawing on paper! ✨ #acrylicmarkers #portraitart #artprocess #arttok #portraitdrawing

I might have gone a little overboard with the colors… but honestly, those final touches made everything pop just the way I wanted. Let me know what you think of the finished portrait. #artdaily #acrylicmarkers #arttok ##portraitart #sketchbookart

I used a standard laminating pouch, passed it through the laminator, and drew directly on it with ENMY acrylic markers. The way the markers glide on the surface feels so good, and I love how opaque the colors look while the rest stays transparent. I started this portrait with light touches of pale yellow, lavender, sky blue, aqua green, and pink, then layered warmer tones over them. Those first colors help me build warmth, shadows, and light before the skin tone comes together. You can use the same idea with any skin tone, just adjust the colors and their intensity to suit the portrait. #artistatiktok #portraitdrawing #portraitart #sketchbookart #artprocess

I doubted every color choice and kept wondering if this portrait would come together. It’s one of the hardest I’ve done, but I’m happy with the result #artprocess #artdaily #portraitart #portraitdrawing #arttok
