Hmmmm going from 76 degrees Fahrenheit to snow ❄️☃️in 12hours!!! Words of wisdom… Wear layers(tank top, t-shirt then a sweater or hoodie, then a hat and winter coat) don’t drive unless you have to cuz well let’s face it Texans can’t drive in snow they just don’t know and what you don’t know you don’t know! It’s not a jab…it just is. The roads aren’t made with proper materials for cold & snow so they ice over easily. I was born & raised in Alaska I know driving tips like give yourself a full car length between you and the car in front if you. If you start to slide TAP your breaks DO Not slam on them it makes it worse! Go slow but be mindful of the crazies who are going fast let them pass! Be safe out there my fellow Texans as for walking near traffic be in high alert in case a car slides and can’t stop through stop lights/stopsigns, if your on a side walk! Send your kids to school with winter coats! You’d think this was obvious but when I taught about 1/4 of the classroom did not have warm winter gear! #coldweathertips #Texas #becareful
