This was a couple years back when I got me, my older sister, my younger sister my mom Veterans Day shirts to surprise my dad. Now he is still here he’s not gone. Very much blessed to have both parents still here. But I loved what the shirts said we still have them. And we posted this for him that day and he saw while he was at work and I know he loved it. (on another note whew the weightloss shows off from this picture lol). 26 yrs active ARMY. 2yrs Vietnam, two years in Korea, and then stationed all over the United States and overseas a couple more times. We were stationed over in Germany and I was 4 years old and had just gotten my first pair of real blue jeans. One of my dad soldiers had left this gorgeous motorcycle there to my dad while he went back to the states for a visit and told my dad he could ride as much as he wanted it. It had less than 100 miles on it. I mean brand new. Yes he trusted my father that much. So my dad was taking each of us girls for a ride. My younger sister wasnt adopted till that Dec so just me and my older. I thought I was the coolest thing in the whole entire world lol. Later that night we went to the movie theater and saw ET. So I had my first bike ride, my first pair of blue jeans, and my first movie theater experience all in one day.
