A little old school, a little new. I enjoy some variety and I also love revisiting songs from the past. I always loved “Sorry” by Justin Bieber but recently found out it was produced by Skrillex. Before he was Skrillex, he was Sonny Moore and Sonny Moore is one of my favorite vocalists!! Back in the day when he fronted the band “From First To Last”, he truly infulenced me as a singer. Little facts like this make me re-fall in love with songs!! Like going to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice this past week… they pay homage to one of my favorite songs of all time “MacArthur Park” by Donna Summer… just a gentle reminder that music is forever and it stands the test of time!! #fyp #whatimlisteningto #myperspective

This video was taken at a point very early on in the mixing process with minimal effects on the vocal. The reference song for “Why Don’t You Care?” was “Nobody’s Supposed To Be Here” by Deborah Cox. We wanted to achieve that old-school feel, the heartache and of course the big adlibs at the end. This song was years in the making and we are happy with the result 🫶🏽 If you haven’t heard the song yet, link is on my insta. I appreciate all of the love and support!! 🫶🏽#femaleindependentartistst #fyp #singersongwriter
