My little space back in time. There's something about the ‘80s and ‘90s that today's world can never replicate. You pop in a vhs into your vcr , or play some levels on your Nintendo, maybe listen to your favorite ‘80s/‘90s band and suddenly , you’re gone. The weight of today’s world and the pressures of adulthood just vanishes . Suddenly you’re in a portal back to when time moved slower and life was simpler. It’s about escaping the noise now and going home to a decade where you didn't have to be anything but a kid. Where your toughest decision was , which vhs or video game you were going to rent at blockbuster that weekend. I know I can never go back . But for a moment , I can just walk into my room , look at what I have and get lost in the past. #MarkyMarkRetro #80s #90s #nostalgia #BestDecadeEver

Enjoying some breakfast and cartoons with my son. Just like the good ol days. Except back then it was Saturday mornings and cereal . In the 80s on Saturday morning was a whole event. You shot out of bed early in your Underoos, slid down the hallway in your tube socks, and beat your siblings to the old wood grain TV. You'd pour your favorite cereal in a bowl, drowning it in milk, and settle onto the shag carpet in front of the couch. And then it started — Smurfs, then He-Man, then Transformers, then G.I. Joe, then ThunderCats at the end with Lion-O screaming "ThunderCats, HOOOO!" while you yelled it back with a mouth full of cereal. In between were the best toy commercials ever made. Mom , dad still asleep, and for four straight hours the living room belonged to you. No cell phone , internet or social media in sight . Just you, your favorite cereal and your favorite cartoon. Awww I miss those days. #MarkyMarkRetro #nostalgia #80s #SaturdayMorningCartoons #Thundercats
