how to check a blown fuse with a multimeter without pulling it. control transformer: 480 V primary through FU1 and FU2, 120 V secondary out of X1 through FU3. no control power. meter on V AC, across FU1: 0 V. across FU2: 0 V. X1 to X2 at the transformer: 121 V, so the transformer is fine. across FU3: 121 V. zero volts across a fuse means it's good. full voltage across it means it's open, because the load is completing the circuit.
