Playing ‘Eyes of the World’ on Jerry Garcia’s Alligator guitar at The Guild Theatre is a moment I’ll never forget. Thank you, Bay Area! Our September 11, 2026 show at The Guild Theatre featured one of the greatest lineups Shred Is Dead has ever had. What a joy to share two sets of our own interpretations of the Grateful Dead’s music with this incredible community! It was an honor to sing alongside the beautiful three part harmonies led by Sunshine Becker with Jackie LaBranch and Stephanie Hartwell-Mandella, trade licks with Mads Tolling and Dave Ellis, and groove with Anna Elva, Murph Murphy, and Scott Guberman. Huge thanks to Andy Logan of the Grateful Guitar Foundation for bringing out four incredibly rare guitars, all played during our two sets! Special thanks to Ned Wasserman, David Gans and Gary Lambert of Tales from the Golden Road, Biss List, The Guild staff, and the entire Bay Area scene for your support. 📸 I’m stoked to share these photos by Gabriel David Barkin. Keep an eye out for the professionally shot video and multitrack audio from this show. I can’t wait to share more with you!
