Happy Monday baddies! 💜 I felt like the big dog today for the first time ever!! 💪 #MondayMotivation #ChestDay #GymLife #WomenWhoLift #womeninspiringwomen

The fibroids have definitely made gym life harder. The prolonged bleeding has made everyday life uncomfortable. However, one thing I’ve worked hard on over the last 3 years is discipline. Discipline helps me keep showing up, even when life isn’t flowing smoothly. Some days that looks different, and I give myself grace. But I keep choosing myself and my future. 💜💪 Remember, even when you don’t want to. DO IT ANYWAY. #Discipline #womeninspiringwomen #womenshealth #Fibroids #motivationalvideo

Will you look at that. This brings me so much emotion looking at it. The day one version of me always believed in the one day. I knew she existed long, long before I ever even saw a glimpse of her in the mirror. I knew I deserved a better life, and I knew I could do it. I remember that version crying every day looking at herself in the mirror. I remember that day in the gym. I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew I had to do it. Well, I did it. And I did it on repeat. Again and again and again. I did it tired. I did it when I didn’t want to. I did it unmotivated. Tbh, most days you are not motivated. I knew if I stopped showing up, I wouldn’t get to “one day.” And yes, I had weight loss surgery. I’m open about that. But surgery didn’t lift those weights for me. This muscle was built day in and day out, repeating the same exercises and putting in the work. I learned A LOT on this journey, and it’s not even over yet. I’m still building strength, still learning, and still accomplishing new things. This time, though, I know how much showing up for myself matters. I remember how tired, sad, and stuck I felt, and I want to keep taking care of the life I’ve worked so hard to build. Discipline has taught me a lot, too. It’s how I save money to travel. It’s how I changed my relationship with the foods that once had a chokehold on my life. It’s how I stay active and keep working toward my goals. I really am doing it. And I’m learning that aging is part of the process, too. We can’t stop it, but we can do things now to support how we feel and move as we get older. Movement is medicine. Strength is freedom, truly! I’m 39 years old, and besides the fibroid shit happening, I feel full of energy and life. I want to thank everybody who’s been by my side throughout this journey. I’m even grateful for the ones who weren’t and showed me who they were. Life is what you make of it, guys. This is your reminder that it’s never too late to start living the life you want. Your journey might look different from mine, but your “day one” can lead somewhere you haven’t seen yet. 💜 #Transformation #DayOneOneDay #WomenWhoLift #WomenInspiringWomen #WomensHealth
