Day 30 - We made it! ✨ This 30-day art series has been about curiosity, growth, and rediscovering the joy of creating. I started with zero expectations, just a commitment to try new art styles every day. Now, I’m more confident, have new skills, and have been reminded, art isn’t about perfection… it’s about the process. Thank you for following along. This journey is just beginning. Stick around to see what creations are coming up… beyond the canvas. 🎨✨ 📺 Behind-the-scenes and longer videos coming soon on YT #30DayChallenge #ArtSeries #StillLifePainting #CreativeJourney
I thought I lost the creative side of me. For years, I kept telling myself I’d get back into art eventually. Then last year, I finally stopped waiting and gave myself permission to start again. I wasn’t trying to prove I was an artist. I just wanted to experiment, make things, and follow my curiosity. After connecting with thousands of people who felt the same way, that journey eventually led me to create Everyday Makers Club, a community for anyone who wants to make art again, explore new styles, and create alongside others in a supportive environment. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to create art. Sometimes you just need permission to begin again. 🎨
If you’re curious and want to create with us this October, check my bio for all the details. This month’s theme is all about breaking away from realism and experimenting with shape, texture, and form. Everyday Makers is a judgement-free art community where we try new creative challenges together, explore different styles and materials, and share what we’re making along the way. The community includes artists of all skill levels, and one of my favorite parts is seeing how differently everyone interprets the same starting point. I created this space for people who want to reconnect with their creative side, try new styles, and enjoy making without the pressure of perfectionism. Last month, our members had fun playing with nature and creating alongside each other during our live session. This month, we’re taking things in a completely different direction with two new challenges designed to help you loosen up, experiment, and make something outside your usual style. If you’re curious and want to create with us this October, check my bio for all the details.
Sometimes the things you’re most hesitant to try end up surprising you the most. Our art community members had so much fun creating their own outdoor paintings last month. New October creative challenges are now available. If you want to make art more consistently and try new art styles, get more information in my bio to join. @Winsor & Newton
Sometimes finding your next art project is less about what you want to make and more about how you want to feel while making it. Swipe through to find an art style that matches your creative personality. Which one would you try first? Get more creative art ideas on my profile!
Next time you feel stuck, let chance decide one part of your project and see where it takes you. The color palette book I used is Dictionary Of Color Combinations Vol. 2. And for anyone wondering about the die, it’s from Magic The Gathering. Consider this the soft launch of my nerdy side.
A tribute to my best friend who was always by my side while I painted. Thank you for all the memories, late nights, and shenanigans. I miss you little guy. For anyone wondering, I painted this over a mass-produced print. Our Everyday Makers community members had so much fun creating their own makeover art pieces this month. September challenges are now available. If you’re curious about creating with us, get more information in my bio.
This month, we'll step outside and let nature play a part in what we create. Learn how to join in my bio. Everyday Makers is a low-pressure art community where each month, our members try new art styles together, get inspired and share their creative process. The community is made up of artists of all skill levels, and everyone is super supportive. Each person brings their own unique styles and skillsets to inspire you to be a better artist. I’m grateful for everyone who makes up this wonderful community. Last month we hosted a live paint with me session, participated in two different challenges, and welcomed many new members to our growing community. This month, give yourself permission to sit down and create something with your hands, experiment, and try something you may not have done before. Get more information in my bio!
3 simple art projects you can try. Which is your favourite? Shadow art, plaster art or Matisse inspired cut out? DM me “ideas” for the full art ideas guide 🎨
Of course I still want to make my family proud, but I also need to honour the child I used to be and the older man I will one day become.
