You know what they say when you assume🫏 I’ve had so many moments of people coming in my booth and realizing they weren’t interested in my work so it was certainly memorable to be caught off guard like this.😄⁣ (P.S. crown rings are always available on my site as made-to-order👑) ⁣ 👇Captions👇⁣ “As an artist who’s a total fantasy freak, I’ve prided myself on being a non-judgemental person.⁣ ⁣ However, I didn’t realize I had bias until 6 guys started walking towards my jewelry booth at an art market, here’s a photo of my booth for reference to get the vibe.⁣ ⁣ Outwardly, these men appeared to be of the fraternity variety, not that there’s anything wrong with that, but for some reason I’m thinking, “Oh no, why are they coming towards my booth, this is going to be one of those awkward moments because there’s nothing in here they’d like, most of them are wearing sports jerseys and I don’t see them wearing any jewelry.” ⁣ ⁣ But the bros walk in and one of the guys sees my crown rings and lights up and says “omg they look like they’re from game of thrones” and his friends come over to check them out and they all begin trying them on. ⁣ ⁣ We started talking about fantasy related things and I showed them how to use a ring sizer.⁣ ⁣ Half the group left buying some of my pieces that day and I was left with an important reminder to not assume who your customer might be because you truly never know and as it turns out they might be a secret fantasy nerd disguised in a sports jersey and a baseball cap.”⁣ ⁣ ⁣#fantasycore #fantasyjewelry #mensjewellery #fantasyartist #asoiaf #dndart #mage #artmarket ⁣#mensjewelry

The making of my new sorcerer ring🪾🔮🧙‍♀️ ⁣ CAPTIONS: “One thing I love about wax work when it comes to making jewelry is taking a design I made a long time ago, like this ring here, and re-working the wax to make something completely new. ⁣ ⁣ I liked this ring with the 10mm center stone but I wanted to create a version that had more of a dark aesthetic.⁣ ⁣ Through wax work, I’m able to create my new vision by adding wax in to this original design from the beginnning and carving away at it until I got my desired result. ⁣ ⁣ I wanted it to look like twisted branches holding in place an enchanted stone that one could harness or consume power from, almost like a conduit of magic.⁣ ⁣ After finishing the new piece, the process continues as normal, being lost wax cast into solid metal, then cleaned and finished in my two hands. ⁣ ⁣ I named this ring the Twisted Sorcerer and it’s one of the new pieces I’ve added to my shop recently, is there another name you’d give it? Let me know below! See you in the next video bye!”⁣✨✨✨ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #sorcerer #Sorcererring #witchyjewelry #enchantress #druid #dndjewelry #fantasycore #fantasyaesthetic #fantasyjewelry #darkaesthetics #darkfairy #gothicjewelry #mage #mageofmetals

I like who I am, chipped nails & all 👩‍🏭⚒️💅⁣ ⁣ ➡️Captions➡️⁣ “Look, when I get unsolicited advice on a video I usually ignore it but I kind of want to unpack this one.⁣ ⁣ This person is claiming I appear “unprofessional” because I sometimes have chipped nails in my photos and that painting my nails is the EASIEST thing I could do. ⁣ ⁣ First, you’re coming off a bit snarky. Second, saying “painting my nails is the easiest thing I could do” proves to me you don’t work at jeweler’s bench every day. ⁣ ⁣ Working with files, a saw, a flexshaft, all grits of sandpaper AND at a polishing machine is what I do on a daily basis. Which means, maintaining one’s nails in this profession is nearly an impossible task.⁣ ⁣ Most jewelers use press-on nails for their photos, and while I do want to try them, it’s not something I should have to do, to fulfill some stereotype of what a professional should or shouldn’t look like.⁣ ⁣ Last time I checked, there’s no corporate code of conduct for entrepreneurial artists online.⁣ ⁣ I’d also be curious if this comment would be said on a male jewelers page as well, but I digress. ⁣ ⁣ I think what determines my “professionalism” is my attention to detail and my craftsmanship for my customers who like unique, quality fantasy jewelry.⁣ ⁣ Quite frankly, I think I earn every scratch and every chip as a testament to the dedication to my profession for the past 9 years. ⁣ ⁣ I think having refined nails is more applicable to designers who have a team of people, are making expensive engagement rings, or have the desire to be perceived as corporation.⁣ ⁣ I am authentically who I am and I will show up that way online. ⁣ ⁣ We all don’t have our nails done, hair done all the time. We are perfectly imperfect beings and I think representing that here is far more important than posting hyper-curated videos & photos.⁣ ⁣ And if for some reason a customer doesn’t buy my work because of my nails, nails of a dedicated working jeweler, then okay bye?? They’re clearly not my type of audience and that fine. ⁣ ⁣ I have my magical people who like and relate to the work and that’s the only thing that matters at the end of the day.” #jewelrydesigner #jeweler #artistoftiktok #jewelrytok
