I was invited by @Timberroot Rustic Retreats to stay at their Riverview Inn located on Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga to experience their historic property, and it honestly felt like stepping into a peaceful retreat overlooking the Tennessee River. Built in 1935, this boutique inn curated by blends historic charm with cozy luxury in such a thoughtful way. Every room comes with its own private balcony overlooking the trees and river, and the property is known for its quiet, secluded feel despite being just 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and only minutes from attractions like Ruby Falls, Rock City, and the Incline Railway. Some of my favorite details were the beautiful Sky Deck and hot tub views, the storybook-like atmosphere, the recently renovated interiors by Timberroot, the peaceful rocking chairs overlooking the mountainside, and the little touches throughout the property that made it feel warm and intentional. They’re also known for their hot tubs with mountain views, and relaxing spaces designed to fully unplug and slow down. This was my first time visiting Chattanooga, and staying here genuinely made the trip feel extra memorable. If you’re planning a Chattanooga getaway, romantic weekend, or peaceful Tennessee mountain escape, I’d absolutely recommend adding the Riverview Inn on Lookout Mountain to your list. 🤍 #ChattanoogaTN #LookoutMountain #ChattanoogaTravel #TennesseeGetaway #BoutiqueHotel

A few things worth knowing if you’re booking Thanksgiving or Christmas flights for 2026: • Thanksgiving airfare has historically hit a low around 5 weeks before the holiday, with prices climbing more sharply within 2 weeks of departure. • If your plans are flexible, flying on Thanksgiving Day itself can be significantly cheaper than leaving during the peak travel days. • For Christmas travel, fares have historically dipped about 4–6 weeks before departure, roughly mid-November through early December. • Don’t automatically default to the Friday, Saturday or Sunday everyone else wants to fly. Search the surrounding dates and compare the total trip price before booking. • Set a Google Flights price alert now, even if you’re not ready to purchase today. That gives you a baseline for your route and makes it much easier to recognize a genuinely good fare. • And remember, the cheapest base fare isn’t always the cheapest trip. Compare bags, seat selection and change policies before choosing an airline. The biggest takeaway: if you already know where you’re spending the holidays, now is the time to start actively watching and booking your 2026 holiday flights, not the week before Thanksgiving. Save this for when you’re booking Thanksgiving and Christmas travel, and follow for more ways to travel smarter and more like an industry insider. #HolidayTravel2026 #ThanksgivingTravel2026 #ChristmasTravel2026 #HolidayFlights #TravelTips

Travel Tuesday ✈️ is often called the Black Friday 🛍️ of travel deals for a reason. 💡 It’s one of the biggest opportunities of the year to find standout savings on flights, hotels, cruises, and vacation packages. But the best deals aren’t always about finding the lowest price. They’re about knowing what you’re looking for before the deals start dropping. For 2026, that means having flexible dates, a few destinations in mind, and knowing how to filter through the noise so you can quickly spot the deals that actually fit your schedule, budget, and travel style. Last year, travelers found hundreds of dollars in savings on everything from roundtrip flights to Europe and domestic getaways to cruises and hotels. And with Travel Tuesday deals often overlapping with Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions, the savings can stretch well beyond a single day. The key? Timing, flexibility, and knowing where to look. That’s why I’m keeping a close eye on the best 2026 Travel Tuesday deals so you don’t have to. #TravelTuesday #TravelDeals #Travel2026 #TravelDeals2026 #TravelTips

@Google just rolled out 3 AI travel features that could make planning your next trip a whole lot easier ✈️ Here’s the TLDR: 1️⃣ Track flights with AI Mode Tell Google the route you’re watching and when you want to travel, then let AI Mode keep an eye on it for you instead of constantly checking Google Flights. 2️⃣ Find and book hotels based on what you actually want You can describe what you’re looking for, like a family-friendly hotel, specific amenities or certain preferences, and AI Mode can help you find options and book with the hotel. 3️⃣ Use points and miles in the search ⭐️ You can tell AI Mode which airline or credit card points you have and how many, then use that information when looking at flight options and redemption values. The third feature is my favorite because it means less jumping between airline programs, credit card portals and points calculators just to figure out how to use your miles. Google is clearly leaning further into AI for travel planning, and these are the kinds of tools I’ll actually use. Save this for your next trip and follow for more ways to travel smarter and more like an insider. #TravelTips #GoogleTravel #GoogleAI #TravelHacks #PointsAndMiles

There are some parts of travel you never think about until you suddenly have to navigate them. Going through this made me realize how little most of us know about bereavement policies, and how different they can be from one company to the next. A few positive shoutouts from my experience: ✈️ @Southwest Airlines was incredibly helpful. The representative I spoke with took the time to understand the situation and ultimately helped me receive a voucher for the full value of the flight. ✈️ @Allegiant Air surprised me in the best way. Their bereavement policy allowed me to receive a full refund for a flight that was otherwise nonrefundable. For hotels, I learned that asking about a bereavement rate was a bit of a waste of time, and probably won’t be the lowest rate available. I’m sharing this because these are the kinds of things you don’t want to have to figure out for the first time when you’re already navigating a difficult season. If you’ve had an experience with an airline or hotel during a time of loss, share it below. I’d love to build a resource people can actually use. 🤍 #TravelTips #TravelSmart #TravelResources #TravelAdvice #BereavementTravel

This @Pomelo Travel deal just hit my inbox for Europe & North Africa that you won’t want to miss✈️ There’s currently a @Google Flight Deals beta tool that can help you find discounted flights based on what you actually want to travel. For example, I searched: 📍 Nashville → Europe + Northern Africa 📅 September 2026 → April 2027 💰 Round-trip economy flights And it pulled up options like: ✈️ Stockholm for $383 ✈️ Frankfurt for $449 ✈️ Copenhagen for $432 ✈️ Brussels for $468 ✈️ Nice for $484 The biggest tip: be flexible. Instead of choosing one destination and one exact date, give Google the general region + date range you’re willing to travel. That’s how you can uncover the really good flight deals. Search Google for “Google Flight Deals beta” and try it with your own departure city. And if you find a great Europe or Northern Africa flight deal, drop the route + price in the comments so we can turn this into a crowdsourced list of cheap flights. 👀 #CheapFlights #FlightDeals #EuropeTravel #EuropeFlightDeals #NorthernAfrica

Save this if you’re tired of paying full price on flights ✈️🌎 These are 5 tools I use to find flight deals, including international flights under $500: ✈️ @Pomelo Travel → free flight deal alerts ✈️ @Thrifty Traveler → filtered flight + hotel deals ✈️ Matt’s Flights → domestic + budget airline deals ✈️ @Going → cheap flight alerts from your home airport ✈️ @Google Flights or @KAYAK → price alerts for specific routes My strategy: I don’t rely on just one flight search tool. National Cheap Flights Day is August 23 ✈️ and if you’re planning fall travel, this is your sign to start watching airfare NOW. National Cheap Flights Day isn’t necessarily a one-day sale. It’s more of a marker for the end of the summer travel season, when airlines start lowering fares to fill seats for fall and winter travel. My strategy for finding cheap flights: ✈️ Start tracking prices before you’re ready to book ✈️ Watch for airfare drops as summer travel winds down ✈️ Be flexible with your travel dates and routes ✈️ Compare multiple airlines and booking options ✈️ When you find the right fare, book directly with the airline I’m already seeing more cheap flight deals come through, and I’ll be keeping an eye out 👀 What route are you looking for? Drop it in the comments and I’ll keep an eye out for a deal. @Thrifty Traveler @Going @Pomelo Travel #NationalCheapFlightsDay #CheapFlights #FlightDeals #TravelDeals #CheapTravel

Everyone asks me how I’m still finding cheap flights when prices seem to be going up📈 The truth is… I don’t rely on one website anymore or traditional Google flights searching anymore I use a simple 3-tool system, and every tool has a different job. ✈️ 1)Flight deal alerts: This is how I find mistake fares, flash sales, and routes I would’ve never searched for myself. If you’re flexible on where and or when you go, this is still the fastest way to book incredible trips. 📉 2) Google Flights Price Tracking The second you know you’re taking a trip (even if it’s months away) search the route in Google Flights and turn on price tracking. Don’t wait until you’re “ready to book.” Let Google watch the prices for you so you know when they actually drop. 🤖 3) Google Deals Beta AI This is the biggest change to my travel planning this year. Instead of manually checking dozens of date combinations, or using the map to find the deals I tell the AI exactly what I’m looking for. Example: “Find me the cheapest weekend trip to Sarasota between now and September.” It searches combinations I would’ve never thought to check and surfaces the cheapest options in seconds. That’s exactly how I booked my last roundtrip flight for $80. The people consistently finding cheap flights have a system, not a secret. Save this for the next time you’re planning a trip. Future you (and your wallet) will thank you. ✈️ #cheapflights #traveltips #googleflights #budgettravel #travelhack @Google @Pomelo Travel
