The most amazing trip! Itinerary below ✨ Night one: Drive in from Portland Stop at Momo’s Cheesecake Check into hotel (we stayed at Anchorage Motel- great location) Walked to village of Bar Harbor (5 min walk from motel) Had Maine Chicken for dinner Day 2: Coffee and breakfast at The Stadium (YUM) Drive into Acadia Parked at Sand Beach parking lot Hiked to the top of beehive (it does get backed up- started at 10am and had to wait a little to get to the top.. traffic) From beehive we hiked over to Gorham (my personal favorite) Descended from Gorham and walked to thunder hole… (we didn’t go at high tide) From thunderhole we walked to sand beach and read our books and laid at the beach for a bit Back to motel to get ready Schooner Sunset Sail 10/10 had a freedoms edge blueberry cider and there was live music met some incredible people! Dinner: Frenchman lobster rolls but we had them at Siren & Sailor (so cute) Walked around town and got ice cream at Ben and Bills chocolate emporium Day 3: Walked to breakfast at Jordan’s Restaurant (blueberry muffin and pancakes with blueberry syrup 10/10) Acadia Perk for coffee Drove to Acadia and parked at Jordan pond house Started our hike on the right side of Jordan Pond.. hiked to the bubble rock trail (there are 2 ways to go and one is SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult… we did that unknowingly) and then came down the easier way Came down the bubble divides trial and continued the Jordan Pond loop Ended up at Jordan Pond House for lunch around 3 (they close at 4) Sat upstairs and read and had coffee while we waited for our table (which went quick) we had the popovers with the homemade strawberry jam (still dreaming about them) and then we had a sandwich and New England clam chowder (DELICIOUS) Drove to Cadillac Mt (needed permit) we didn’t get a sunrise pass and when we went up around 6 it was so foggy we couldn’t see anything and it was FREEZING but it was still such a beautiful drive to the top From there we drove back to the motel and walked around bar harbor and did some shopping at the stores and ended the night with ice cream from CJ’s!!
