Urban exploration also referred to as urbex is the process of entering and observing structures that are no longer in active use. These structures may include abandoned supermarkets, schools, factories, hospitals, office buildings, shopping malls, and other types of infrastructure. Individuals who take part in urban exploration typically visit these locations to examine the architecture, condition, and layout of the space in its current, unused state. The reasons for abandonment can include business closure, economic decline, relocation, structural damage, or changes in population and land use. Urbex does not involve altering or damaging the location. The objective is usually to document the environment through photos and videos for historical or personal interest. It is important to approach these spaces with caution due to potential safety hazards. Urban exploration offers a visual record of buildings and areas that were once used but are now left to deteriorate. #liurbex #longisland #justexploring #abandonedplaces #lostplaces #urbexworld #urbexdecay #abandoned #urbex #bando
