I thought I was just battling jet lag, but it’s more than that. Coming home meant leaving behind so many people I love, my family, my children, my grandchildren, my friends, and someone who has become very special to my heart. Along with the islands that will always be home to me, I feel like I left half of my heart somewhere between Guam and Hawaii. The exhaustion isn’t just from the travel; it’s from carrying all the emotions that come with leaving. This trip reminded me how blessed I truly am, not only by the people who have loved me my entire life, but also by the unexpected blessings God places in our path when we least expect them. So tonight, I’m giving myself grace, eating my favorite ice cream, and letting my heart catch up with my body. While I was home on Guam, I stopped by Vince’s Jewelers to admire the beautiful 14K Guam collection. The craftsmanship is incredible, but when I saw the price of the iconic 7-day bracelet… I had to look twice. $18,758. 😳💛 With the price of gold where it is today, it’s understandable, but wow!
