For the first time in a long time, I’m enjoying painting again ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆ I’ve had some personal stress the first half of this year which made everything a lot harder but I also made some mistakes. One of them being I kept pushing my way through ‘The Butterfly Effect’ - one of my painting series. The story of that series feels dated within a different chapter of my life so I just wanted to finish the series before starting anything else. But I kept getting stuck with wrong compositions over and over again when I needed to just take a step away. And after too long, I finally stepped away and have spent some time on this piece. It feels like a breath of fresh air. Finally. And I think it’s pretty obvious with the way it’s coming together so quickly. It feels like how I used to paint. It’s fun rather than painful. I’m actually excited to come back to this piece. I need to listen to myself more. Do things as and when I feel like it.
