As Avery gets older, I’m realizing more and more how important these experiences are. It’s never just about the destination, but the memories we create, the things we get to experience together, and the opportunity to show him that there’s a whole world beyond what he’s familiar with. From family dinners to exploring new places, laughing, making memories, and simply enjoying each other’s company, these are the moments I hope he carries with him long after the vacation ends. 🎀 Come With Me: Breast Biopsy Edition | Part 1 Well y’all, we’re switching things up a little today. 🥹💕 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it hits a little closer to home. After some suspicious findings on my breast imaging, I was recommended for a biopsy. And when I tell y’all my mind has been ALL OVER THE PLACE! 😩 I’m sharing this because sometimes we see the pink ribbons and hear the reminders to get checked, but we don’t always talk about the anxiety, the uncertainty, and the emotions that come with actually going through the process. And while a biopsy doesn’t automatically mean cancer, that doesn’t make the unknown any less scary.
