Meet Lady 🖤 She is one of the four brought to us from an owner who we were told passed away. And that was the only main detail we received.. Our rescue is full and to take 4 more in would be a stretch. But when it was said they’d be taken to an auction barn where kill buyers frequent.. we knew we had to help even if temporarily . She is so skinny and she looks so tired. Her eyes are windows to her soul. Yet despite EVERYTHING she is one of the sweetest horses I’ve ever seen. She loves affection and will stop what she’s doing to take it in. If we are going to selfishly take horses from the wild, breed them and make them “valuable” to us, we owe them to always make sure they are valued as such. Lady needs a forever home where she can be loved the remainder of her days🖤 she is 25 and an old soul. #lady #horse #rescue #oldsoul #survivor #love #horserescue #horses #thoroughbred #fyp #lifeadvice
