It can feel frustrating when you move into a new place or are only a year or so into your home and the space doesn’t feel ~perfect~ especially when we’re constantly shown the most curated and put together places online. I’m still learning that it takes soo much time (and money, and effort) so I wanted to share some of the before and afters of my space to show a more realistic timeline of what a space changing actually looks like. I didn’t hire anyone (can’t afford it!), and I had to do a lot of trial and error to figure out what works in my space. Not to mention saving up and working one room at a time because…life’s expensive!! I can’t just buy everything I want all at once, so it’s a slow process. I’ve lived in this space for 2 years as of today and am so proud of how far I’ve come, and it’s STILL evolving!! Thanks for following along, and excited to keep growing with ya 🤍 #apartmentdecor #renterfriendlymakeover #apartmenttour #laapartment

At $10 per rack (I got 2!), this is a super affordable and beautiful way to display your books! I’m also downsizing my book collection bc I am not really a maximalist in that way, so it’s fun to highlight a more curated selection in a way that doubles as decor.
