a snapshot of the past 6 months. mainly working kelps like kombu and oarweed, with some wrack and dulse. all sourced responsibly from sustainable farmers/harvesters working to protect our ocean. 100% compostable, dyed with homegrown natural dyes and water resistant; and just the most fun and versatile material to play with! a kelp/seaweed “leather” update that got way longer than I expected! I had so many fun experiments to share. Kelp “leather” is a compostable biomaterial I make from kombu and oarweed, dyed with homegrown natural dye plants.
