For years, I had knowledge that CHRIST DIED AND ROSE AGAIN. I knew Jesus Christ had been crucified. I knew he had been buried. I knew he rose from the dead. But there was something I did NOT understand. I DIDN’T KNOW CHRIST DIED FOR ME. I didn’t understand that HE DIED FOR MY SINS. I didn’t understand what his death accomplished. And I did not understand the importance of his resurrection. I knew THAT he died. I did not understand WHY he died. I knew THAT he rose again. I did not understand what his resurrection meant concerning justification. Then I learned what the gospel of Christ says. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) 1 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” There it was. Not simply: CHRIST DIED. But: CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS. Not simply: CHRIST ROSE AGAIN. But he ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. And Paul tells us: Romans 4:24-25 (KJV) 24 “But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” DELIVERED FOR OUR OFFENCES. RAISED AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION. For years I knew about the crucifixion and resurrection, but I did not understand that CHRIST DIED FOR MY SINS, that he was buried, and that HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY. I did not understand that this was the gospel I needed to BELIEVE. When I believed the gospel of Christ, I was no longer resting in the fact that I had heard the account of Jesus Christ. I was trusting what Christ had accomplished: HE DIED FOR MY SINS. HE WAS BURIED. HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY. So now I ask you: WHAT ABOUT YOU? Do you simply have knowledge that Christ died and rose again? Or do you know WHY HE DIED? Do you understand that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS? Do you understand that he was DELIVERED FOR OUR OFFENCES and RAISED AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION? Have you BELIEVED THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST? There is a difference between knowing that Jesus Christ died and knowing the gospel concerning WHY HE DIED AND THAT HE ROSE AGAIN. Romans 1:16 (KJV) “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” AS ALWAYS, WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE? Acts 17:11 (KJV) “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” #WhatSaithTheScripture #1corinthians15v1through4 #JesusChrist #gospel #LetGodBeTrue

✨ HOW IS A SOUL SAVED TODAY? ✨ Not by confession. Not by water baptism. Not by works. Not by Acts 2:38, John 3:16, or Romans 10. But by trusting Jesus Christ and believing the gospel given to Paul. ⸻ 1. THE GOSPEL THAT SAVES 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” This is the gospel that saves today. Nothing else saves. ⸻ 2. NOT BY WORKS, NOT BY WATER, NOT BY CONFESSION Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Titus 3:5 (KJV) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” No ritual. No performance. No confession. No water. Only trust and belief in the finished cross work. ⸻ 3. THE OPERATION OF GOD - SPIRITUAL CIRCUMCISION + SPIRITUAL BAPTISM Colossians 2:11-12 (KJV) “In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” The moment you believe: • He spiritually circumcises you • He spiritually baptizes you into His death and resurrection • He seals you It is His operation, not yours. ⸻ 4. SALVATION THE MOMENT YOU TRUST CHRIST Ephesians 1:12-13 (KJV) “That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” The order is clear: Hear → Trust → Believe → Sealed. ⸻ 5. JUSTIFIED BY THE FAITH OF CHRIST Galatians 2:16 (KJV) “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ…” Romans 3:24-26 (KJV) “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus… to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” ⸻ ✨ THE SUMMARY A soul is saved today by: Trusting Jesus Christ Believing how that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day Believing the gospel Paul preached Not by works, water, confession, emotions, or law But by the faith of Christ and the operation of God #SetForTheDefence #Salvation #EternalLife #FreeGift #1corinthians15v1through4
