The people demanding that Mayor Mamdani stay away from the 9/11 Memorial are exposing the exact prejudice they pretend to be defending America from. Salman Hamdani was a Muslim American who ran toward danger and sacrificed his life trying to save others on 9/11. His sacrifice was every bit as heroic, and his family deserves every bit as much recognition and respect, as the families of the 411 emergency workers who died that day. Yet people still treated him with suspicion because of his faith, his skin color, and his name. The Trump administration’s BLM sold approximately 3,700 wild horses in 2025, more than DOUBLE the previous level, while failing to ensure they didn’t end up in the slaughter pipeline. These horses were rounded up, stripped of federal protection, sold to questionable middlemen for next to nothing, and some were traced toward Canadian slaughterhouses. Wild mustangs are living symbols of this country. Selling them off to be butchered for profit is an absolute fucking disgrace.
