Light of the World - This piece of music came to me last week. I worked with it and I developed it in about a night and now I am working on writing it down on paper. I call this piece of music "Light of the World" and I am particularly fond of this piece of music. This piece of music will be on an album that I am going to record entirely outside to feature the background sounds of nature with my pieces of music as I hear them when I play them in scenarios like seen in this video. I don't take these shots for videos like these to garner likes, though I hope people like them, but I shoot these videos because this is what I have been doing on my own without a camera for many years and its how most of my music has come to me over the years. All the video shots are taken from the same day I made the video, and the recording is made in the video that you see me playing in here - I only recorded with my @audigolabs Microphone and fooled with the editing settings when I was done to get two copies, a copy with delay and a copy without. So I will post both of the videos, as I am a fan of the delay affect for this particular piece of music. I also like the non-delay version of the audio as well, but I have experimented with many of my pieces and this one in particular goes well with delay, unlike some others. I guess its the timing of the notes. One thing Id like to mention about this piece that I discovered while contemplating writing it on paper, is that it contains a melody pattern of 3 notes, over a 4/4 rhythm, and each measure (except for variations) contains 7 notes in each measure. This creates a profoundly beautiful, flowing style of fingerpicking that I am not aware of in a lot of other guitar music. It is a style that I have developed on my own from many years of listening to music all over the world. That being said, I hope you enjoy the music. I will be uploading the full video to YouTube along with some other full length videos of some of my other music in the coming days, so don't miss that if you enjoy my music! My YouTube channel is Kessler Watson - go and subscribe today! Keep an eye out for my new album which will be released to Spotify toward the end of the year!
