The key is to focus on what excites you the most because that enthusiasm will keep you motivated during the learning process. Learning data science is a gradual journey, not a quick race. Spending countless hours on it requires sustained energy. If you force yourself to study things you're not interested in, it becomes difficult to stay on track. However, if you concentrate on topics that genuinely interest you, you'll likely discover that you need to pick up some related skills along the way.
